Definition The insects larvae (capricorns beetles, lyctus, vrillettes) hollow galleries and sink into the wood to feed themselves, reducing the matter in flour. They throw this flour back. Then these larvae get closer to wood surface and become nymphs. At last, being females or males, these perfect insects make a hole in wood surface to fly away. |
