The damages

   Termites can make real serious damages in an unsuspected and pernicious way. You will never see entry or exit holes.

   They are a big impending danger for human environment because they attack :

   • Their constructions : they undermine dykes, foundations, pillars, causing floodings, ground subsidences, houses crumblings, ...

   • Their patrimony : they devour houses, castles, panellings, organs, furniture,...

   • Their housing : they eat everything made off wood (partition walls, beams, papers, ….) but they can do others damages when they search their food (eat away electric cables, insulating materials, rubber tubings).They damage green spaces also eating away trees interior which fall down a bit later.

   Attacked pieces are emptied with the grain of the wood without any woodworm. The wood get weaker and is not able to support anymore the construction structure.
Only damages in plaster, insulating materials, wallpapers can be visible. They seem like holes covered with soil or present materials particles.

   Termites develop themselves particularly in regions with hot or tempered climate. We find termites as well in very desert regions as in equatorial damp forest.

   Human people favour termites propagation making exchanges using fast and air-conditioned transports, living in comfortable warmed houses. The propagation is also because of semi-detached houses, urban heating system, pipings etc...

   That is why we can find more and more colonies in the North of France, “bridgehead” indeed in colder regions as the North of Germany, England or Canada.

   The treatment

   The treatment itself includes :

• ground treatment,
• wall treatment (foundations and putting up parts),
• partition wall treatment,
• lining wall treatment,
• wood treatment

   To note

   Besides the treatment, building protection depends on the property and its surroundings hygiene and healthiness conditions. People have to clear the buildings and their adjacent grounds of every rubbish overall cellulose ones (boxes, old stumps, wood pieces...) and have to burn them. No wood will be stocked in or against buildings. Each future modification concerning the construction may compromise all the enter or part of the treatment. In this case, it is advisable to contact the applicator firm. If you don’t, the firm may be released from its responsibility.
